Dr. Shannon Schmit MD

Dr. Schmit grew up in Batavia, NY before moving to Rochester to attend undergrad at the University of Rochester where she studied biochemistry. She then moved to Buffalo to complete her medical training at the Jacobs School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Program. When she's not practicing medicine, you'll find her spending time with her husband and beloved dog, baking, reading, or following all things women's sports, especially the WNBA.
