Dr. Sofia Turbide MD

Dr. Turbide grew up not too far from Buffalo in the Finger Lakes. She attended undergrad at the University of Rochester where she studied microbiology and public health. She then moved to Syracuse where she completed her medical training at Upstate Medical University. She is currently completing her residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with the University at Buffalo. Alliance Med Peds serves as Dr. Turbide’s continuity clinic, and she can be found here one afternoon per week in addition to longer rotations for 2-4 weeks at a time. She feels so lucky to have the joy of caring for both adults and children and seeing her patients grow and change between visits. In her spare time, Dr. Turbide loves to read, visit museums, be immersed in local farm and art markets, browse thrift and antique shops, spend time with her cat Petri (yes, like the dish), and go on long walks in the great city of Buffalo with her Fiancé.
